I'm very rarely bored too. Its all about positive mental attitude, an enquiring mind and imagination.

Why waste time finding the bad in stuff when you could be using your energy to find something interesting and worthwhile in every situation?

Life is too short to be negative. If you think something is boring then it WILL be. If you think there might be something interesting hidden away then you'll find it.

Your husband sounds great.

I believe him because I was like that in high school. We are in the very small group of people in the world that can find something interestin in everything. Thats what keeps us from being bored. I bet he rarely complains and everyday of the week, he can find something to do. Last night, my sisters school took us to a modern dance play and my sister and cousin were bored out there minds but I enjoyed it and I really did!!!!!!! SO I dont think hes lying.............and by the way, it is hard to be a simple being because Im one and its hard for people to understand you cause everything to the normal person is so complex and had to be differcult....I dont know why.....maybe you can answer me back why are people so differcult?

Well, it is very possible because I too am one who never gets bored.
I have been accused of being a weirdo because I am so content with whatever I am handed.
I can get out and do something or I can be at home and do nothing, either way is fine with me.
So, the answer to your question is YES.

I take the opposite approach from the other answers -- to me your boredom shows a ZEST for life. You don't want to sit in a classroom and have someone spew out boring nonsense -- you need stimulation. I think you should go with that -- constantly keep exploring -- new hobbies, new friends, new places to go. As for your husband, I think you should put all of this on the table so he knows what your needs are. I wouldn't be surprised if your desire to explore becomes fun for him too.

He is the type of person who can find something interesting in everything even if it's just for awhile. That is a good quality, keeps things fresh. He must be easy to live with.

Boredom is a frame of mind and comes from within. If a person is at peace with himself, boredom is not really possible.
