Dramamin and other medicines like that usually put me to sleep. I've heard of ginger pills but I want to know if they work and where to get them.

You can get the ginger capsules at any store that sells herbal remedies. Most drug stores even.

Well, they tested ginger on the program Mythbusters and found that ginger as a preventative was plausible. It kept both Adam and Grant from feeling seasick on the seasickness test chair they built.

You might try the seasickness wrist bands/ I got mine at a drug store. I actually had to wear them when I was pregnant to lessen the morning sickness. They help create a pressure point on your wrist (on the underside close to where you would take your pulse). Maybe those in combo with the ginger pills might help. Good Luck

Dramamine makes a Non drowsy type. I have used it as needed, for years.

You can get a patch from the Dr. to wear behind your ear...the patch has to be replaced every 3 days but they do work...
