I am 13 weeks pregnant and worried about the same thing! But you are pretty unlikely to miscarry at this point. Here is some information on micarriage statistics I got at www.amazingpregnancy.com/pregnancy-articles/337.html
There is a 75% chance of miscarriage in weeks 1-2 of pregnancy, when you do not know you are pregnant.
There is a 10% chance of miscarriage in weeks 3-6 and this number drops to 5% during weeks 6-12.
During the second trimester the chance of miscarriage drops again to 3%.
Also, I've heard your risk decreases quite a bit after you've heard or seen your baby's heartbeat with a doppler or on an ultrasound. So I would try to relax and enjoy your pregnancy, and just to warn you, there are a lot of people on this site who will try to scare you and tell you horror stories about things that are very unlikely to happen. Those people scared the crap out of me and I worried for nothing! Good luck and congratulations!!!

I wouldn't worry much after the first trimester. I've heard of a couple of people having miscarriages at the end of the 2nd, but don't worry about it too much, miscarriage usually happens in the first trimester.

The risk becomes less when you enter the second trimester. But there is still chance that you might have a miscarriage or a stillborn.

the risk is higher in the first trimester, but you can miscarry at any time. i lost a baby at 28 weeks of pregnancy. i'm sure that my situation is different than yours, i have a bicornuate uterus, but the chances are still there. most losses in the first trimester are due to deformities in the baby that your body detects and doesnt carry on with the pregnancy. i believe losses later on are due to rare instances. if you are concerned, talk to your doctor. in a few weeks, you'll have an ultrasound and that will tell you with fair accuracy how everything is going. good luck.

once you hit 12 weeks the risk dramatically decreases, but it is still possible at anytime of a pregnancy.
Don't worry about it too much, I know I did, until I realized that there are way more healthy babies born than miscarriages. Good Luck, and congrats!

there is always a risk but the majority of pregnancies that are going to miscarry will do so by the time the 2nd trimester is over. however i work in a hospital and we frequently have to transport women to "deliver" their babies between the 12 and 20 weeks and those babies generally are not viable. the earliest i know of being somewhat survivable is 23 weeks but i believe those babies have severe developmental and physical problems. just take care of yourself and do everything you can to have a healthy baby!!

There is still the risk, but it decreases greatly after twelve weeks. If you are taking care of yourself, your fetus should be okay. Congratulations.

I read it's after 12 weeks that your chances dramatically decrease, but that's no excuse to go buckwild or anything because the chance is always there.
