I'm amazed (and amused) that every one of the 15 people who answered this question agreed whole-heartedly as though no one has ever been astounded by their* stupidity. It happens to all of us at least once. I know there have been moments when my* stupidity has astounded others.

you have NO idea!!! i work with this woman who is probably one of the most senseless people i have ever known!!! she asked me the other day how to remember the difference between a carnivore and an herbavore. after explaining it to her (herbs = plants/ carnage=blood and guts) she said "so a tyranasaurus rex is an herbavore then?" !!!!!! also the other day i heard her tell her daughter that the reason we don't get good cell phone reception in the office is because we are in a sound proof room. we are NOT in a sound proof room, i don't know where she even comes up with this crap!!!!
