2.0 square feet = 288 square inches.

One squre foot is equal to 12 inches wide by 12 inches long.

for 1.5 thats roughly 18 inches wide by 18 inches hi by 18 inches long, and for the 2.0 thats 24 inches wide by 24 inches hi by 24 inches longyou can make it about 2 inches variant in either direction, as long as the area remains about the same

You're looking at:

1.5 square feet: 15" each side gives approx 1.56 square feet
15" = 1.25'
1.25' x 1.25' = 1.5625 square feet

2 square feet: 17" each side gives approx 2.01 square feet
17" = 1.4166'
1.42' x 1.42' = 2.0164 square feet
