That depends. Were you the cause of the break up? If not, do they blame you anyway? If so, then I wouldn't give a damn.
And were you close to his family? If so, then keep in touch with them from time to time.
If he was the cause of the break up and you weren't really close to his family then I wouldn't give a damn what they thought. Do they pay your bills? lol
So it just depends on the situation.

Absolutely not! A wonderful person like you should not care what the EX-HUSBAND's family thinks of them. You've got more important things to think about - YOURSELF!

While you should not worry about what they think of you, neither should you go out of your way to prove to them you are a ***** (which I assume you are not). Just focus on doing what you know is right. People (including ex-in-laws) either want to like you or not. You should just worry about what your children think of you if you have kids. If no children, then just treat them like you would want them to treat you, but DO NOT expect them to be nice to you just because you were civil to them. What you think of yourself is really what ultimately matters, and of course, God.

Don't worry about it. The mature thing to remember, though, is that you were not married to them but him, and any friendship you had with them does not necessarily depend on your marriage to him.
You don't owe them anything from the marriage, but if you were friends, if possible keep it, only if it's constructive, if it's destructive, lose them.

well they probably won't speak good of you or think good of you. because they are not decent people, so who cares. rise above their ignorance and don't give them the time of day, unless you have to because of the kids
