No change to 101. You can go all the way from SF to Pismo Beach on 101. You can take Hwy 1 from SF to Pismo, as well. It's slower, but a lot more scenic. Hwy 1 connects with 101 in SLO and then separates in Pismo.

Depends on where you're starting from. The accident mostly affected access from the east bay. It may be quicker to go down I5 and take 41 into Atascadero. 41 runs into Hwy 101 just north of where it joins Hwy 1.

Hwy 101 meets Hwy 1 in San Louis Obispo. Follow the signs it's well marked.

should not cause problems in the slightest for you. not really sure where you are travelling from, but the accident that happened is over 230 miles away from Pismo Beach. However if you are in the SF area, you will need to allow extra time depending on where you are driving from. If you are in the north bay or peninsula, no changes are required. 101 S all the way down.

Highway 101 is absolutely nowhere near this incident and should not have any complications. There are ways around the accident location if you are going from the east bay or from napa/fairfield areas. If you are going from points north, you will need to take 80W to 580 to 980 to 880. Then continue on south. If you are going from the east bay like Walnut Creek take 680 to 101.

101 is not affected. The affected area is in the east bay, the MacArthur Loop just off the Bay Bridge.
