I studied the philosophy of art once and there are loads of ideas as to what makes somebody an artist or something art.
Is cave painting art? When they painted on the walls of caves all those years ago- was that art? I suggest it can be viewed as such.
I would suggest the creative process you go through when you do this is art, even though you use the computer- it does not need anyone to view it- only you-to make it art. Call it computer art if you wish, but it is art.

people have since the dawn of humans made art. They have done this in many ways since we begain. in the beggining they did it by drawing on cave walls and now art, thanks to technology has transformed its medium (that is what you use to create art) has moved from the cave walls to the computer where the softwhere gives you a representation of what you wish to make, be it a picture, moving image or a combination of words such as a poem or story. Anything can be ultimatly percieved as art. Art is like the food you eat, it's a matter of personal chioce. I like McDonalds but many people do not, does that mean that I am not really eating food when I go there? Granted it may not be the greatest source of nutrition by it is indeed food, and so if you think something is art, then thats what it is. If you think it is not art then it isint. Simple really.

Art is self expression and can be produced in any fashion. The opinion of others should not matter as the artist is creating a work of how he or she feels. Go with it, especially if it works for you! And usind the computer is Graphic Art, an actual catagory. So stick with it, enjoy it and good luck.

Any form of personal expression using colours and graphics is art as far as I'm concerned. If you put 20 people onto a PC and told them to draw on paint, none of them would draw exactly the same picture would they, so yes I think it is art.

Yes, it's art. I love Microsoft paint, and often used it to express myself. After awhile I moved on to watercolors. One thing you may want to do to make it real, is color print some of your better works.
You can then use the plastic insert frames, some crafts shops have huge ones. Or mat and frame them normally.
It gets you to thinking your choice of line width, the colors of your work, and the total picture. Yes, it definitely is art, thank you.

A artist is someone who draws. But art is everywhere. No matter if it is done on computer or not, you have done it. Doesn't have to be good to be art. Yes, that is art!

The creative process, however it is manifested is Art. Check out what God did...there's a piece of Art!
Whether one uses cheese, charcoal, or a computer; when the creative process takes form, that's Art, baby.

Art can be whatever you want it to be, there is no right or wrong form for it to take. And an artist is anyone who expresses themselves creatively, so yup-you're an artist!

easily. you would be difficult-pressed to persuade everybody that (illustrations in) comedian books are not artwork, on condition that they contain drawings, that are basically approximately universally seen artwork. comedian books fall into the class of seen artwork. previous that, the type determines the class to a pair degree. in any case, the class isn't unavoidably agreed upon or significant. Comics many times tell memories, like the subsequent point 'up' (it fairly is, in a seen course) from a heavily illustrated novel, as a thank you to communicate. would God bless you.
