Rotate an abrasive compound on the edge of a fixed tube of steel, with a 5 inch outside diameter. A drill press is the better.

you could try using a glass cutter, but would have to be very cautious about breaking the piece out.....I would practice on a piece first tho.....use a ceramic hole saw.....or take a ceramic drill bit and drill holes all around in the size you want, then tap the piece out.......good luck
