Is Orlando airport(MCO) far from International Drive and what would be the best way to get from the airport to our hotel on the I-Drive? Would it be expensive getting a taxi??? Or are a bus or train available?

Thanks for your help! x

It is roughly 35 minutes from the MCO Airport to I Drive. I recommend you make a shuttle reservation with Mears Transportation from the airport. Visit online at http://www.mearstransportation.com
They are cleaner, cheaper, and nicer than any taxi and come highly recommended!

The distance from MCO to International Drive is: 13 miles. The location of your lodging can change that distance since I-Drive is almost 10 miles long. You can't walk it or hitchhike so you must take some form of transportation. Cab fare is out of site for most people. The rates vary, plan on $25 minimum. I personally dislike the owner of Mears, but they are an option.

Renting a car, if you are going to need transportation while here is the best choice. Consider renting off site since the airport has sur charges added onto the rental fee.

Also a consideration, check if your place of lodging furnishes transportation.

Yes it is far from International Drive. It is over 20 miles away. Don't take a taxi! It is very expensive! Take the Mears transportation from the airport to International Drive.
