Where can I find help in purchasing a home?

I am looking for assistance in purchasing a home. I am a single woman, 51 yrs old and am want a home of my own so that I can't be forced into the street again. I have found the perfect home but need assistance so that I can purchase it. I am not looking for a feel handout, just some help.

I assume when you say you "need help" you mean financially.
There are many programs out there for folks just like you. Start by checking out information at your local HUD department.

Also, every state has a Department for some type of Housing Assistance and there are usually offices at the

It's called a loan, and you need to see a lender (a bank, etc.). If you don't qualify for a loan, I suggest you rent an apartment.
