Get the car up on jack stands , the leak is probably the pan gasket , loosen the 10mm bolts and slowly drain at one corner loosing more bolts all the time, these can be messy at times if you rush , the new filter will have a new gasket, clean the pan out , and pull the old filter, it full of s* it , install new filter, and clean the seal area and pan , use a little permatex gasket seal to hold the gasket in place and install, most trany will take 5/6 qts. AFT. don't overfill, My trany slipped and this ended that problem , don't over tighten all those bolts , snug is the word, if the leak is at a fitting , while you have it drained take it apart and resit it , all these work cost about 35 bucks, it's just takes time, and it's easy to do ! good luck.

Depends on where the leak is coming from...if it's the pan, you could try to tighten the bolts...if it's any other area like leaking from a seal, you could try a bottle of trans conditioner like Trans-Medic from a parts store which has additives to swell the various seals in the trans to stop the leaks but generally I don't recommend them...it's better to replace the bad seal. Check out the link below for tips on checking for trans leaks. Good luck, Paul

You didn't say what the problem was so I'm assuming the trans slips. There are several brands of extra heavy transmission fluid (Trans Fixer) that you can purchase at your local auto parts store. Good Luck.

You need to find where the leak is at and fix the problem,

Your trans will not last long if you keep adding fluids.
