If you are cautious you could buy things in bulk and sell on Ebay.
Be enterprising and think about what you can do to make people's lives better.
How about learning to write a web site and do web programming. What is your favourite thing in the world - in my day it was superman and super ninja turtles, but now it will be something different. write a web site about that and use it to scream about your interests. Make it the best web site you can. Then hopefully other kids will come to view it regularly and you'll get a regular following. Then you can add an on-line store to sell merchandise - stuff, toys. And you'll make money.

get 3 paper rounds like i did when i was 13. i was making almost £50 a week which is a lot of money at that age.

Work with your parents/legal guardian.
Then ask your parents to ask trusted neighbors to do chores (mowing the lawn, house cleaning, painting, etc) with you.
You might also want to build a resume first of volunteer work (at your church, public library) first...you'll get a good start building references for better paying jobs next summer.

Grass cutting has a lot of money in it if you go to a neighborhood with a lot of elderly people. Or you could get a paper route.
