But now a year later,... my son has vistied several more fancy dress partys and continues 2 always dress as a BABY...he has aquired a collection of these costumes, with all different accesories.
he tells everythink is fine,..and its just fun.

What does it mean? Maybe something, maybe nothing. Worst case scenario is that your son is stylizing himself as an Adult Baby/Diaper Lover which is a fairly harmless fetish. Like all sexual preferences that are a bit off-beat I'm sure Freud would have a field day but all in all it's harmless. If it is the case that your son does have this fetish he is obviously not keeping very private which is a cause for some concern. You might want to have a short discussion with him about discretion and leave it at that. Pressing him too much may drive a rift between you. Should you be worried? No. But obviously you are. You might want to talk these issues out with a counselor. Personally I would let this issue go. You must be very lucky if this is all you have to be suspicious about!

My advice... Stop borrowing trouble. It's none of your business unless he was doing something that hurts (not just "bothers") other people.

He may be developing a fetish, but if it's any consolation (to you), the "playing like a baby" thing is usually a straight fetish with a chick tending to him. At least he's not dressing like a terrorist.

I don't think there is anything wrong with that. Maybe his friends love it and wants to get a lot of attention so he wears such costumes. I am sure that he will stop once his friends bored with that.

Sounds like fun. Really! Is he dating? Is he sociable? Is he involved in school activities? If yes, then I wouldn't worry. Otherwise, the first place to check is with the school counseling service. You can talk to him/her/them privately to tell them of your concerns. Then leave it to them and see if anything comes of it.

No! He's got himself a reputation that he has to build on every time he goes to one of these parties! Anyway, even if he is building a fetish for himself, it's nothing to do with you unless you plan changing his diapers for him!

If he's just wearing these getups at parties, it could just be that they're a big hit with his friends. If he's wearing them at home while watching tv, then you might have a problem.

How old is he now, 18. I would say he has a problem. Talk to him, see where his ideas are going. Something is missing from his life, get him help.
