No. do no longer positioned the two on your workstation, that would desire to be over kill and a significant hog, on condition that norton first of all is a significant source hog. to no longer point out the actual undeniable fact so you might in no way have greater then one virus secure practices software put in on your workstation. Now if it is as much as those 2 i might screw the Norton information superhighway protection, because it fairly is the worst one and motives a brilliant time lag and bypass with the Norton Antivirus. yet while it have been me i might forget approximately norton all jointly and bypass with the plenty friendly AVG, that wont reason your workstation to lag. it promises a unfastened and and paid version of it.

Don't listen to anybody who says Norton AntiVirus is bad. Also for all the people who say Norton takes up alot of space on the computer, they just have bad computers with less memory. Norton has good firewall. It has every thing.

Norton 2007 has been completely re-done and now uses a very reasonable amount of computer resources.
Norton 2003-2006 were huge resource hogs that would slow all but top-of-the-line machines down.

karpersky is a better antivirus compare to norton.i have try it and test it with the same virus...(^_^). it scan all your files . However you need to have a fast computer to use it.it use a lot of your computer memory same as norton.if you computer is slow, don't use both of this.another good antivirus is NOD32.avg antivirus is not good compare to norton, peope just use it be'coz it's free.Norton is good if only you always update it...

No. Norton is a resources hog. Soon it will be overcome by anti virus and spy ware and all else on the web. You have to pay for it every year. A great free alternative is Avast. www.avast.com It is free and works great.

Norton became horribly bloated a few years back. It would take forever to scan and would slow down the entire system. I haven't used them in a long time but it might have changed.
