What is common means nothing to me. My concern is what works 100%.
I have found over many years that you need atleast three antispyware programs, as the others will find what one misses. You can only run one antivirus program or you will have conflict.
In my free times I test all antispyware/antivirus programs to see if they perform as claimed. I will install trojans and
spyware for the test.
Here are three that I use and they keep me free of spyware, malware, rogue, dialers, trackware, worms, trace spyware and rouge cookies.
Superantispyware is the very best as it will find what all other miss. Download their free version. http://www.superantispyware.com
A2Squared Malware out of Austria is excellent for all listed spyware above. Download their free version. http://www.esmisoft.com
AdAware Se Personal from Sweden. This company has been around when comptuers first came out and specialize in spyware only. Download their free version. http://www.lavasoft.com

I have to agree with "iam" on this one. I think Spy Sweeper is the most used and counted on spyware detector.
Adaware is spyware, so do not try to download their free software. Norton advises that it is harmful to your computer.
