Yes, they make a muffler repair kit, ask any back yard mechanic, "It won't last long", best, and safest (Carbon Monoxide Poisoning is a real threat), is to replace the pipe.

Many years ago, I had a VW Beetle, but not a lot of money.I covered a hole in the exhaust with a tin can, copper wire an Gun Gunk. It ran for about eight months before I finally changed the exhaust.
To be honest I don't think you would be able to do that now with a modern exhaust

I had this on an old car of mine. Exhaust bandages might work although with mine the bandage fell off after about 50 miles.
A better fix is:
Get a small sheet of thin steel from B&Q (cost about a fiver) and cut a strip off (with tin snips), wide enough to cover the hole and long enough to wrap around the pipe and overlap.
Clean the area around the hole with emery paper, put some exhaust putty around it and wrap the band of steel round. Secure with a couple of 'jubilee' clips and put more putty around the edges to seal.
Elegant it isn't, but it will buy you some time. My fix got me through an MOT.

Those "gun gum" type bodge materials you can get in accessory shops are nothing more than a get-you-home thing & seldom work satisfactorily.
You can get a back box for about £20, easy to fit.
Might be worth getting the whole system replaced if you can manage it, if one part's gone the others will be close behind.

dont bother the products available are a pain to apply and dont work anyway, you might be able to get a quick weld done on it, that would only cost £20-30 if not bite the bullet and get new part, you will be wasting your time otherwise.

Gun Gunk and Gun Gunk wrap, but you really should replace it. Halfords have a number of appropriate products.

the simplest thing to do is replace it. If you repair it all you are doing is delaying the inevitable
