I like pizza because it is made out of healthy and tasty ingredients. It may be covered by the different groups from the food pyramid. Cheese on the pizza is from the dairy products, tomato (sauce) from the vegetable group, and ham and pepperoni (spicy Italian-American variety of dry salami (sausage of Italian tradition) that is usually made of pork and beef) from the meat group. Its crust may be seasoned by garlic, herbs, butter, or cheese. These healthy ingredients could make me strong. After eating pizza I will feel great and wonderful.
Another reason I like pizza is there are many styles to try. I really like to try new and unusual things. Some of the styles are White, Lazio, or Neapolitan, but most of the styles are American. Chicago, Chicago thin crust, St. Louis, and Hawaiian are only some of the American styles. Most American styles of pizza have pepperoni on it. All of the styles may be great!
The third reason of liking pizza is that it has different ways of eating. The cold is good for breakfast and a tasty snack. I like the hot ones better that is eaten at lunch or supper.
The last reason is that pizza has amazing records. I like anything that has top records. The largest pizza is made in Johannesburg, South Africa. The longest pizza delivery is from Cape Town, South Africa to Sydney, Australia, which is 11042 km (6861 miles) long. The most pizza ordered in one night just only in America is about 94,000,000 pizzas!

It's something called a pastie. The Cornish miners used to carry them for their lunch. They're made up of bite-size pieces of steak, sliced potatoes, chopped onions, chopped parsley, a little butter and seasonings baked inside a pie crust. The crust is folded over so that each pastie is like a half of a pie. My grandmother, who was a wonderful cook and made fabulous pie crust, used to make them for us and they were the favorite of the entire family. We still make them occasionally, but they never seem to taste as good as Grandma's did. It's not just that none of us can cook as well as she did, I think it's that extra love that a grandma puts into everything.
