Oh Sweetie, I remember when I turned twenty-seven and felt like I was getting really old --- oh my gosh, close to the big 3-0!! Now I look back and realize I was still nearly a child. You have so many years of youth and joy to look forward to. And don't worry about getting older, either, because there really are compensations. As we lose some of the gifts that come with youth, we begin to recognize the benefits that we gain through the years. Oh my god. Faced with your own mortality at 27. I don't know how you kids cope. I wish i was 27 again, i'm actually 34 ( cough! cough! splutter! splutter!)
