I's not true at all. You can't win a lottery you never entered, and besides, the "yahoo lottery" doesn't exist.
Just mark the email as spam and forget about it, don't reply to it or anything or the spammers will know your email address is valid and then you'll get even more spam.

Did you bother to search for questions "yahoo lottery" in that search box above? You should have realized we've answered this dozens of times before: it's a scam, and a poorly written one at that. Just think about it...
Yahoo! is a US corporation. Why would it be giving away British Pounds? And where's all the legalese like "void where prohibited" and all that? And if they know all about you to let you win, why would they use e-mail to contact you? They would have at least the courtesy to call you directly, yes?

Absolutely NOT
unless you ENTERED a lottery by buying a ticket, the chances of winning are NIL
If you try to claim they will want enough information and your bank details to allow them to try to use the bank account or will ask for a "handling fee" to process the claim.
Either way YOU LOSE money, sometimes LOTS of money if they use it as a means to identity theft.

It's a scam. The only thing you can really do about it is mark it as spam so you won't ever get it again.
