i remember that game, he was pretty upset because luke could have taken the shot and made it. kobe passed him the ball because he was just under the rim, but he decided to give back the ball with no more time. a big mistake.

Hey Andrew,

Obviously Kobe was pretty mad but had to keep it inside. No matter what anyone says about Kobe if you've followed his career- the man has a tremendous desire to win and to constantly improve his game.

i think without Shaq part of his pushing his game to the next level is to help the players around him improve their game. i think Kobe has shown a lot of maturity in sharing the ball more with his teammates and i remember that game Luke should have shot the ball- but instead it cost the Lakers a crucial ballgame.

Quite often Kobe gets the ball with the shot-clock expiring and has to take a poor quality shot... Kobe probably couldn't express his frustration and publically humiliate his teammate (esp. as Luke is one of his better teammates and is such an unselfish player by nature), but we all know Kobe hates to lose...

How old is this news? Do u know that Kobe is more mad at losing in the first round of the playoff series rather than one single regular season game?
