Women can play any other sport like Tennis or Badminton or Volleyball and even compete with men if you ask me but NOT football. Its a fact and its not a sexist comment. Football has Men written all over it.I mean Women can compete with each other. The main reason for Men being better than women in sports overall are the *testosterone advantage, more muscle, lower body fat, larger hearts, more oxygen-carrying red blood cells etc.* FACTS scientific. EDIT: I would like to add something that in 2004, Fifa, has ruled that a leading female Mexican footballer should not be allowed to play for a professional Men's club.Maribel Dominguez had signed for the Mexican second-division club Celaya which would have been a first for football in North and Central America.FIFA ruled it out. If women compete with men when a guy gives a sliding tackle, will a women be able to escape without getting hurt. Not Possible. Its just the way God made us. Sports = Men and Books = Women. (in most cases.)

Yes believe it or not there is a Pro Woman Football league. National Women's Football Association (check on google).
The only women that may make it to the NFL is Nick Mangold's sister. She is over 300 lbs. and is a great blocker. She is the only women ever to start in a high school varsity football team.

In the NFL? Ummm... No. While there are a lot of outstanding female athletes out there, you'd be hard pressed to find one that is big enough, strong enough AND fast enough to survive in the NFL. Women are generally smaller then men, and size is VERY important in football because of the violent nature of the game. The bigger problem however, is the fact that a female player would be a target simply because she would be a woman playing a man's game. The men would go out of their way to test her toughness, there would be cheap shot after cheap shot dished out. The guys would want to prove that a woman wouldn't be tough enough to handle the punishment. I think it would be REALLY cool to see a woman go out there and kick some serious tail, but I just don't see it happening any time soon. I DO think that women CAN be successful in other sports, even in the men's leagues, especially where massive size isn't as important as skill and athleticism because women athletes have already proven that they have plenty skill and athleticism.

I could see a kicker or punter. Maybe even a wide out. There have been some seriously gifted female athletes. I could Mia Hamm being a great place kicker in the NFL.

NO. Forget political correctness. Women are not fast enough or strong enough to compete with men on a football field.

***There will always be a male football player who can kick the ball farther than a female player!!!!! Like I said, they cannot compete with men on a football field. The female kicker at Duke who was cut from the team and sued the them for discrimination - her maximum range was 35 yards! That means with her on your team, you'd have to get at least to the 18 yard line for a FG attempt. That is NOT good enough.

Probably not against men though I wouldn't rule it out. Arsenal pay their women's football team, I'm sure there are plenty of women playing football for a living.

They could but it would have to be in a different league.....guys and girls are different when it comes to playing sports.....guys tend to be rougher and play harder....and if they did go co-op then there would have to be a change of officiating and penalty changes.

Yes. At one time, we had a WNFL, but I dont know what happened to it. I dont think it would get the respect and the fanfare as the NFL, because no one would take it serious. Like the WNBA.
