Yes it would. No matter how blunt or truthful it may be, you have to roll with the punches.
Also realize in your life experience that we all are responsible for our own actions, that life is what we make it, and not too be too hard on ourselves, while treating ourselves better.
After all, we are only human.

It's a terribly tactless (though technically correct) thing to say. People should take as much care as they can not to hurt the feelings of others (like by not saying things like what that person said).

Yes i would, they are special to be so a number of things they do or say affect my feelings positive or negatively.

It is true, they aren't, so no point being upset over it and do something about yourself. You will feel a lot better, knowing that you don't need anyone to have control over you

well if it was cleared to you from the beginning then no i mean why would you be upset if from the start they made it clear they were not interested i personally think its your fault for letting yourself like that person move on theres plenty out there

if they are the ones who made you feel the way you feel yes because they would be the ones who made you feel that way......but it is our feelings and they cant do anything about it.

yeah, sure it would annoy me cause that would be too straightforward, i mean there is a gentle way to say it, that would make it less annoying
