I just replaced my pushrods since one of them was bent. the thing is though one push rod is sitting lower than other. lover to the point where it wont even sit in the rockerarm it just dangels around. now heres a twist the hole that the push rod was bent in is fine the new push rod sits in just fine, the hole next to it on the same cylender is the one that dangles around. what could be the problem here?

Did you replace the valve lifters while you were doing the pushrods? Also, did you measure the new one against one of the old ones to verify that they are the corect length?? good luck.

The pushrods set indirectly on the cam.As the cam turns,it pushes 'lifts' the pushrod on the high spot of the lobe on the cam. ( A lobe is kinda eggshape)As the cam turns even more, it lowers the pushrod. You have 'hydraulic lifters' which are between the cam and the pushrod. You may have a 'collapsed lifter' in which case, you will have to remove the intake manifold to replace it.

could be a damaged lifter or the camshaft has a lobe worn off.what about the valves are they all the same hight without the push rods? could also be a stuck valve or broken valve spring.
