If you've never heard it, during the chorus breaks of Billy Idol's "Mony, Mony", the audience shouts "Hey Motherfuc%ers get laid get fuc%ed". Where did this originate? When? And with whom? I want to find the genius that started the chant and forever cement him/her in history.

Before Billy Idol even came out with the cover... this has been a part of the Mony Mony song when played... Ive been to wedding receptions, etc. where one side of the crowd on the dancefloor will shout Hey then the other side shouts Hey What then it goes back Get Laid and finishes with Get F*****... where it originated, I dont know... but it's been going on for a very long time
(there's obviously different variations of it too)

I've never heard of that. I'm an Aussie and I'm not syre if you've heard of the Angels. They had a son Am I ever gonna see your face again. After they sang that line everyone used to shout out " No way, get effed, eff off". Even over 20 years later people still do it. I guess it only takes one person, and it spreads really quickly

It was going on in the bars outside US military bases in Korea in 1987 and probably earlier.
