tonight, he said ""I will veto any legislation...that encourages the destruction of human life at any stage," he wrote.

is he flip flopping, or just plain lying?

He is the strongest proponent of the death penalty since Reagan,
but he says he won't support the destruction of life at any stage.

Does anyone believe this guy anymore?

He doesn't have any plan, that's why. His execution record while he was Governor of Texas speaks for itself too, Bush executed more inmates than any other Governor to date, he is even in "Ripley's Believe It or Not" with the record.

i think of a final attempt to warn Iran what's inevitable if it does not come to the table is honest and if some see it as a turn-flop (a-l. a.-john Kerry (Vietnam conflict hero)), it fairly is a desperate way of watching it. Iran is on the verge of being decimated.

He's talking about abortion. The death penalty is for criminals who deserve it. The two cannot be compared.

You could turn this question around and make the liberals sound like flip floppers. Why do they want to ban the death penalty, saving the lives of criminals, and yet promote abortion, and the taking of innocent human lives?

I do, sometimes. But I also don't take his meaning out of context. I'm smart enough to know to what he is referring.

I am against the death penalty AND abortion. And, I support GW Bush and our global war on terrorism.

An American is a terrible thing to waste (no pun intended).

Maybe he's trying to reach out to those citizens who supported Hanoi John Kerry? They seem to really go for that whole flip-flopping type of thing.

Bush flip flops because his mind changes depending upon the demands of his party mates and interest groups.

You know what he meant. Liberals are against the death penalty because it's proper punishment for Murderers. What proper punishment do innocent babies deserve?

why is it that the attention span of liberals is limited to one sentence or, at most one paragraph in time, leaving the rest of us to fill in and correct history?
