I am doing my internship in a HR consultancy and business development is my project. i need to know what are the different methods in which business can be developed or clients can be reached

Best way is to establish a personal relationship with the top decision maker. Everything else is B.S, Senior managers generally use consultant sthat they trust on a personal basis .....with the only exception being where there is a very specialized task that can only be performed by a select few. HR consultants are a dime a dozen. Buddies get and keep the work.
