Okay, so I'm very pale, and since the weather isn't sunny yet, I can't go outside and tan, plus, I am so white, its almost embarassing. So anyways, Ive been going to the tanning booth but I just get little pink spots and my tanning lotion doesnt seem to work. What tanning lotions would you suggest or any substitutions for that to help me get tan? Thanks.

u could try using a lotion that has a combination accelerator/bronzer...the accelerator causes the melanin to come to the surface of your skin for quicker development of color & the bronzer will provide u with some immediate color while u wait for your natural tan to develop...it may take u a while to see any results, because it`s a fact that the more u tan, the easier it is to get tan, so if u are fair complected and/or haven`t tanned in a while, it`s gonna take more time!!! just stick with it, & if you`re not burning, then u can move up your session time by a min or 2 each time u go, until u achieve the desired color...happy tanning!!!

If you're naturally really white, it's usually hard to pick up a tan. Usually if you have a very fair complexion going to the tanning bed will only result in a sunburn and then fade back into your normal color. I would suggest using Mystic Tan. If you have a ShowBiz Tan around you they have it there and it works great. It's not orange at all and it lasts a couple weeks!!

In the Bible days, fair skin was considered more beautiful, because if you weren't tan, you were wealthy and didn't have to work. Song of Solomon, stated do not hate me because i am dark. So be beautiful and pale, but if you must, try the spray tans or sunless tanners. tanning beds increase your risk of myelomas (cancer) by 75% in you start tanning in your teens and 20's.
