Move on, It is important to be with a man who respects his mother, usually means he will respect you. In this case he has made it clear that blood is thicker than H2O, his mother will always come first and this will never get any easier.

Saying anything bad or negative about a guys mama or a guy AND his mama is a BIG no-no!! This guy needs some time management skills! If he thinks ANY girl is going to be OK with mom being chaperon, he's in for a big surprise. He is most likely NOT good boyfriend material - he sounds like his brain isn't firing on all cylinders.

It's great your bf loves his mom, but this is clearly having an effect on your relationship. I would find it a bit creepy, to be honest. Why is she going anyway? Has she got no life of her own?? He seems the type that would confide in her with all your relationship issues, I bet she knows more about how he's feeling than you do.

I'd put my foot down if I were you. If the two of you do stay together long term, she can't be sitting on your shoulder, going everywhere with you. I would really question him as to why a 22 year old man puts his mother before his gf.

Give him back to his mama and run as fast as you can in the opposite direction. You will never ever ever measure up to his mama and she will always find new and crueller ways to make your very existence a living heck.

Isnt' the answer obvious? His mother IS more important than you..so leave it at that and find a man who is out to find a love, not a mother's helper. This one ain't for you...he is happy with mamma. Let him be. At 22, he is well on his way to being a looser. don't join him.

Is this guy really worth it?
How did you guys start going out if his mama was always around? Sound to me like you should look for someone else. gl!

Women, you all should want to be with a man who respects their mother. They are more than likely to treat you with that same respect. Having her come along when you go out is a tad wierd.

Hello,

Well you are not the only one. My Boyfriend is too a momma's boy!!!! Drives me up the wall, i talked to him about it and told him how i was feeling. He also got upset and angry but it needed to be done. It important he understands how you are feeling cause it could destroy your relationship.

Wish you all the best!

i think it is just natural.. as for me, i think you should instead be happy that he loves her mom too much because it only shows how loving he is and how much care he can give to a person specifically a girl.. you should be thankful that he is a responsible son because it also means that he could be a responsible bf as well... can you get my point

anyway. if you want to have a quality time with him alone, maybe you can treat his mom on a spa or salon makeover for a day so as to keep her busy and relaxed as well to not bother you two..
