How do i deter pigeons from craping on my lawn??

Question

I have tried cd's in the trees.
I have tried rotating bird scarers.
I have tried dummy rooks.
The tree is protected so I can't cut it down.
I'm thinking of buying an air rifle..any suggestions.

My challenge is my new neighbours loft Pigeons circling over my backyard while he shall we them out daily at 5pm. they're splatting throughout my tiled pool section , my domicile windows , my washing, and roof terrace. I even have 4 cats and it does not deter the birds. My neighbour on the different factor has threatened to get an air gun yet i do no longer want him to break the birds it somewhat is no longer their fault. it somewhat is the fool who keeps them caged all day who's at fault.

I've been reading your answers with interest, because of all the cars in my street mine is the only one that gets covered in pigeon droppings.

are you posative that they are pigoen nine times out of ten the pigeons get the blame and the culprits is starlings just make sure

dummy birds ... cd's ... rotating birds do not work ... the only thing you can do is shoot the birds

or you can use a sling shot or maybe train a cat to pigeon hunt.
