I'm not 100% regular but I think I'm on day 16 & my breasts are already sore. Is that normal? Or do I need to call my OBGYN?

Oh I hate to say it but yes it is awful. But there are things that do help...stay away from caffine..sugar..and watch your salt intake. You will see a big improvment! Also exercise..even just a walk seems to be a great help..as well as advil..it will also help. I have gone through this for years and the above is the best I have found for major improvement. I use natural honey instead of sugar..and I drink 1 to 2 cups coffee max..then it is caffine free..and herbal teas..and water..all
help work as a diuretic....alot of the breast pain is swelling..from fluid.
I hope I have helped!
Ciao!

Some women have breast discomfort or pain right before their period, while for others, this starts during ovulation and continues until their period begins.

It is common, however, for a woman's breasts to feel "bruised" or extremely sensitive right before menstruation. Often times, breast discomfort is caused by fluctuations in hormone levels throughout the menstrual cycle (regardless if women are on the pill or not).

This happens to me as soon as in a whilst! It is usual. Simply ensure you are not pregnant or some thing. However other than that, it can be completely typical. You would anticipate your period prior (and having your interval off monitor can be average).

It's normal, but if the pain persists or gets worse then you should probably get a mammogram. It's more normal to be tender, not so much sore.
