Yes - I collect Carnival glass. Found a great bowl at a thrift store and bought it for 2 dollars. It was a great bargain - shame it was destroyed when I dropped it several years later.

Oh yes! All we have in our tiny town is a Walmart, so once in a while I go to the thrift store. Sometimes it sucks and sometimes I go home totally tickled with my "treasures"!
I have found some pretty nice clothes for the grandkids, cookbooks, novels, toys and children's books.

Furniture, if it is in good shape.
Once I bought an almost new couch with a hide-a-bed, for 35 bucks!
It was in perfect condition!

I'll go in a minute...I have found a lot of very nice ties, dress shirts and slacks...but my wife is TOO good to go there...they have some good stuff there...bikes, rollerblades, etc...
