With all the markets and fast food places selling buffalo wings there are no buffaloes left that can fly, without this natural defense ability they may become, or may already be, extinct.
What can we do about this.

Not to worry my friend, we have imported many of the flying buffalo trees here and have planted them on the Volcano on the Big Island..
In a few years they will mature and there will be no lack of very hot and spicy buffalo wings.

Greetings.Ha! Ha! Ha! OMG! I hope you're not really serious about this subject.Because if you are then your ignorance is no excuse. You'd better go check up on what buffalo wings are. They are large chicken wings. Out Back Steak House has Kookaburra wings they are chicken too.
As for the subject on the Buffalo becoming extinct. The answer is No they are increasing. They found 400 animals with the original DNA in Montana. All the other buffalos were interbred with cattle to get what the majority are today. I for one am glad they can't fly. You think bird crap is bad enough when it hits your clothing or head. You'd really have a problem if a Buffalo flew overhead and wanted to drop one. He! he! He! I wanted to end this reply on the note of fun you becan it with. Ciao Lynda

Well I heard tell that they are actually genetically altering Buffaloes so that they will now be born with three wings instead of two. This well increase the supply and help fill the over whelming demand. There is also talk of making the sauce even spicier so people won't eat as many at one sitting thus decreasing the demand.

The only problem is that with three wings the Buffaloes can't fly very well because they are unbalanced and this makes them even easier to catch so it also represents a problem.

If you think that's bad, what about all the 3-legged chicken fryers in the supermarkets? Everybody knows a 3-legged chicken is a rarity. But at the rate they're selling, by the middle of next week the world's supply of 3-legged chickens should be depleted, right along with the flying buffalo herds and the jackalopes that get killed for trophies.

You gotta be kidding, right. How old are you? Buffalo wings, my friend are chicken wings. They don't come from Buffalo.
And, in fact, Bill Gates, the multi-millionaire has a large herd of about ten thousand and growing. All this on about 100,000 acres in the Western States. He and others are replacing the buffalo.

Well, after watching Veggie Tales with my kids I was under the impression that "everybody's got a water buffalo".
