You never mess with a friends husband/boyfriend. It is okay to be attracted to him, but dont act on it. What kind of a friend are you? She is dying and you wanna mess with her man.

Whether it's wrong or not depends on how you approach this, I think. You've got a huge potential to hurt your friend and to upset her husband, but to be honest, if I were dying I'd be looking for someone to take my place. Other people are different though, so I don't know about your situation.

Depending on the situation you could ask your friend what will happen to her husband and kids, who's going to help him etc. It'd be easier for her husband to move on after she dies if she lets him know she wants him to find another wife instead of mourn eternally.

In the past in some cultures a widow had to marry her brother-in-law... that doesn't tend to work anymore nowadays, so why not a friend? It won't be an easy relationship to get yourself into, as you might never be the number one... he might always like his dead wife better, etc. So odds are you want to stay out of it for your own sake, wrong or not.

Time.

Be respectful of your friend.

Be respectful of her grieving husband.

Again, time. There will be the time when she passes. He will need time after that - at least a year. He needs to readjust and process.

Concentrate on your friend for now. Make sure you spend the time as a friend should. Don't leave any regrets.

If you spend too much time with her husband, waiting for her to die, you are no different than a vulture or scavenger. You may be attracted to him, but it may only be infatuation - beware.

If you two are meant to be, give it at least a year after her passing - then what is meant to be will show itself.

Trying to take her spot before she's gone NOT cool. Although if after, he is interested there isn't a problem. Let him make the move and DON"T try to replace her with her babies. Remember her to them and always follow in what she would do for them. Keep in mind her family will always be around.Just continue to be there as a friend and see what the LORD has in store. Many blessings.

Gee, you sound really selfish and cold hearted. He may have 'needs' but you shouldn't be fulfilling them! What kind of friend are you??A friend's husband should be off-limits anyway, but the fact that she's dying, and you want to jump his bones is sick. Grow a brain and stop being a selfish person.

its not wrong to be attracted to him, but you should not let that be known, especially if you are a true friend to her.
