Sometimes there is nothing you can say. You can nag the crap out of him all you want, but he won't do it until he is ready. He needs to see that by not doing it he is hurting his kids. He needs to see how much the extra money is needed to support the kids. Go ahead and try to explain it, just don't be surprised when it doesn't work. Sometimes, you can beat them over the head with a baseball bat and they still don't get it
Good luck on turning him into a caring supportive father from the dead beat he is.

I don't know if there is anything you can say! It's a shame that his kids don't mean more to him than that! You can try and talk to him and see if he can see what he's doing to the kids. Some men think that they will hurt the ex by not doing what there suppost to do, but in reality it's hurting the kids. My ex brother in law refused to pay his child support and his youngest is 20 now and she hates him...

You can tell him that he should....,but i don't think it will help....My advice is to help these children get there support and this is how you can do it.....I'm under the impression that she has an open child support case.....so how this works is the state garnishes a percentage of his earnings....hence, if she knows where he works; she can get the support for her children...all she needs to do is inform child support where he works! They do the rest.....In general that's how it works...state laws my differ, I live in Hawaii and all it takes is a simple phone call to the office and they trace and garnish!
So, if she doesn't know where he works...you can help out by letting her know!
source: personal experience (single parent, mother of 4, receiving child support for my children that I had to hunt down!)

you can turn him into the state.
and depending on his employer you can also let them know, i think it's a law in Evey state that child support can or must be taken from paychecks. there are certain jobs that when they check your credit which alot of employers do now and if you owe child support they will not hire you or they will call the state.

Tell him, only low life's don't take care of what they helped to create, and the system has a "remedy" for low life's. PRISON. I knew one such person, and when I was 17, he decided to show up and one day saw him in a bar. When I went up to the bar he put his arm around me bragging how I was his "son." Know what I "said" to him in front of everyone?
I said, even "dogs" take care their young, and I'd take that arm off of me before I break it off for I am no "son" of yours. Then I threw him against the wall. Never called me "son" again, and on his death bed beckoned everyone to bring me to see him back in 1993, but I HAD no "father" and this stranger meant NOTHING to me.........

Tell him he shouldn't deprive the children of support because the authorities are sooner or later catch up with him, and it will be much worse when he has to pay then. bettyk

If you get involved in that situation your brother will really get upset and think you are taking her side. He knows he owes her money already.

Tell her to contact a lawyer!
If he is not paying it's a crime!
Or tell him she will if he doesn't, maybe something will cook up in his head.
