Most of the time, I'll just hang back with whoever I go with and dance there with them. No moshpit for me, thank you very much. xD Unless its to get pictures (photography is a hobby of mine). Whats a good outfit to wear?

I love fashion. But don't want to stand out too much. I was looking back at a few of my magazines (when the "pirate" "goth" stuff was still in style). And what do you think of something like this?

A knee-length, loose, black bubble dress; black, foot-less leggings; black platforms; a pink patent clutch; a long, matching pink necklace; a long, silver necklace with a pendant on it that adds a "rocker" touch; silver rings/earrings.

Ohmygosh, I forgot about hair! lol

Mine is longer than shoulder length, with lots of layers through it. My bangs can go anyway. What if I tease it a little bit throughout, but then a lot on the sides to get that glam-y sort of a look?

First off, I think it's cool that you are liking the style of music and not being put off by it. Now for some bands? Hmm... Well I'll give you a few suggestions and maybe you might like them. -Traditional Goth Rock bands: Siouxsie and the Banshees, Diary of Dreams, Dreadful Shadows, Eva O, Christian Death, Gitane Demone, Rozz Williams, Joy Division, Nosferatu, Rosetta Stoned, & Sisters of Mercy. -Deathrock: 45 Grave, Scary Bitches, & Zombina & the Skeletones -Darkwave: The Cruxshadows, The Frozen Autumn, & Switchblade Symphony -More Modern Gothic Rock/Metal bands: The 69 Eyes, Theatre Des Vampires, Anabantha, London After Midnight, Clan of Xymox, & Paradise Lost -Symphonic Metal Bands (Since you mentioned Within Temptation, you might like these bands perhaps?): Nightwish, Epica, Aesma Daeva, Angtoria, Leaves' Eyes, Kamelot, & Therion -Industrial Rock (Since you listed Marilyn Manson): Orgy, Snake River Conspiracy, Celldweller, Oomph!, The Prodigy, & KidneyThieves -Industrial EBM (More electronic like): Aural Vampire, Zombie Girl, Ayria, & Helalyn Flowers Hopefully those might be to your liking? And now to answer your questions lol BQ: I haven't really met another Goth. I have met someone who liked a little of the subculture though. BQ2: If we are going for the traditional Goth bands, my all time favorite is Siouxsie and the Banshees. :D BQ3: Umm... I'm not really sure lol
