First, follow the order of operations doing the division inside the ( ) then the multiplication ( ) and finally you can add the three resulting fractions.
For division of fractions, you'll need to invert (reciprocate or "flip over") the fraction on the right, then you can cancel & multiply straight across.
For multiplication - just cancel common factors & then multiply across.
Remember that when you add or subtract, you'll need to get a common denominator - this is the hardest part.
The final answer is: 2 1/18

1/2 + 2/3 / 3/4 - 4/5 x 5/6=
1/2 +2/3 / 3/4 - 2/3 ( cancel the 5's make the-4 a negative 2 and the 6 to a positive 3)
1/2+ 2/3*4/3-2/3=
1/2+8/9-2/3=
lcd is 18
9/18+16/18-12/18=13/18

You could use a calculator, turn them into decimals to work with them depending on your preference butI'd just do it out like this:
1/2 +2*4/3*3 (because when you divide fractions you can flip them and mult.)-4*5/5*6=
Do that out then you should have... 1/2+8/9-2/3 (reduced 20/30 to 2/3)
Find a common denominator (which would be 18):
9/18+16/18-12/18= 13/18

1/2 + ((2/3)/(3/4)) - (4/5 x 5/6)
1/2 + (2/3 x 4/3) - (4/5 x 5/6)
1/2 + 8/9 - 20/30
1/2 + 8/9 - 2/3
find the least common denominator which is 18
9/18 + 16/18 - 12/18
13/18

Keep it simple. Just convert the fractions to their decimal equivalents.
1/2 = .500
2/3 = .666
3/4 = .750
4/5 = .800
5/6 = .833
.666 div. by .75 = .8880
.800 X .833 = .6664
.888 minus .6664 = .2216
.5 plus .2216 = .7216 (Answer)
