Today I saw a little 7 year old girl with a real tattoo of Mickey Mouse on her. It still upsets me! Aren't there laws against this sort of thing?

The tattoo is real. My understanding is a friend of the childs parents put it on.

As long as the parents ok it, a child can get a tattoo. Not a good idea, and I definitely wouldnt let my kid get a real tattoo at such a young age but whatever. Tattoos are permanent though and kids should not be getting permanent things on their bodies. Do you really think shes gonna want Mickey Mouse on her when shes in her 20's?

Hello. I think that's horrible. It sounds like they are going to "BOIL" their kid... that is make them aduterized before their time... which is not good. Kids who get boiled are not fitted with proper civility and more importantly MORALS. At the place I work at I see many kids who are being boiled and thus shaped in ungodly ways. Promiscuity, children giving birth to illegitimate children and the like are so ensuing, and they don't even know it. As for laws, there's probably not much to guard against it until perhaps someone call the authorities. It's a sad shapening of the moralilty of the next generation.

18 and over should be the rule everywhere....I'll bet you were freaked by that. 7 is too young. Blame the freak parents.

I really hope it was painted on or something. I know in tribes they do stuff like that... but I'm gonna guess she isn't in a tribe. I hope her parents are put in jail for the rest of their lives.

None the less, you can't prevent people from doing what they want with their own body. Just because it gives you the creeps
does not mean that they have your same sensabilities.

Where I live it is legal as long as the parent's consent. The artist who did it though..I would question his judgment.
