Have you tried to press F8 as soon as you pc starts to power up. Press F8 over and over until you get into a safe mode. Once in the safe mode move your cursor upto the safe mode and reboot in the safe mode and see if you still have a white screen. If you do it is possible that you may only need a video driver.
You should have a computer engineer, look at your pc, before you go out and spend money on a new monitor. It could be a simple problem of the engineer downloading a new video driver.
Price veries from $108.00 to over $1000.00 depending on the size of your monitor screen. Plus I am sure it veries from country to country.

it depends on whats wrong. its probably that your screen is cracked and the replacement costs depends on the model and stuff you have. it wont be anymore then a few hundred dollars.
