Is the colour of blood fully red or does it have a brownish tinge to it?

i think it depends on if it comes from an artery or a vein. I've seen blood that was brownish and blood that was really really red.
Oh and blood isnt blue until oxygen hits it. Thats just a myth. I learned that in college biology and human health classes so I'm betting that it really is just a myth. And veins are just blue because the veins themselves are blue. Blood is always red, inside the body or out.

Well it depends if it has Oxygen in it then it is bright red if it has little Oxygen in it then it is dark red. If has no Oxygen in it then it is blue as in your viens. When blood is spilled it dryies brown.... So bit of a hard question to answer!

P.S blue blood seems to me that people don't understand,when I did biology it was the way I said first. If you will not except this go see a dead body... why is it blue.. OH YES IT HAS NO OXYGEN see above people also the nurse who got it right too.

My blood is bloodred.
But it turns brownish because of the iron in it..
But running inside me:totally red.

Depends, deoxygenated blood is more blueish purple, fully oxygenated blood is a pure dark red and blood out side of the body that is dry or drying has a brown tint to it. hope this helps.

the brownish tinge indicates the blood is old.
The blood you see in your veins is actually blue.
It turns red in the presence of oxygen.
Blood in your arteries is red.
