Mats Sundin will not have his career end from hip problem and will come back to score 60 goals and 200 points and win the hart trophy. Leafs will sign Briere, Drury, Smyth, Souray, Kariya, Gomez, and Forsberg, because they all LOVE toronto and want to play there for under a million dollars each. Also, Toronto will pull off some crazy trades, like Vincent Lecavalier for a 5th round pick, because T-Bay will be so desperate to trade him because of cap situation. Raycroft will turn into a true hall of fame goalie or Justin Pogge will come up and start his amazing Patrick Roy like career in the NHL. Leafs will be the first team in NHL history to go unbeaten in a season and win the cup with an overall record of 98-0. And Leaf media and fans will be vindicated for the first time ever, as all their trade and free agent signing rumours will come true and their annual pre-season predictions of the Leafs winning the cup will finally come true, also all their pre-game predictions of leafs wins.

Refs make the correct calls once in a while. There are more hockey fights and less sissys whining about violence in hockey. Bandwagon jumpers are able to be beaten with sticks and other blunt objects if they even speak about hockey. Rod Brind 'Amours face is shattered by a 98 mph slapshot, making him actually look normal...

you must dream allot. and all the players you named would rather play for other teams, such as Kariya (VAN), Souray (LA, cause to be closer to his daughter), Smyth (EDM he wants to go back), Briere (MTL his favorite team), Gomez and Drury and Forsberg you should learn a little more about this players before you make something up like that.

No, it's someone predicting in the middle of this season's playoffs that the Leaf's are all in next year.
I don't hate the Leafs---in fact as a Buffalo resident they have always been my second team as I watch so many of their games and spend a good deal of time in Toronto. I would be thrilled to see them break the curse and win the Cup but c'mon....
I won't **** on your dream (I will encourage you to use paragraphs...geeze) but posting this is just asking for abuse.

yah i can see the leafs winning a game, they are due. As for winning the cup, theres no chance of that, they need to make the playoffs for that to happen. To the leaf fan who think they will be making themselves into contenders in the next 3 years, keep on dreaming cuz it aint happening

Hahahahahahaha!!! I'm a Leafs fan and even I know that that won't happen next year! The only way we'll ever have a chance at the Cup is to get rid of Ferguson. But since, the Ontario Teachers' Pension (who owns a little over 50% of the Leafs...yes, a bunch of useless teachers owns the Leafs...quite sad) are only concerned about money, they won't do ****-all.

And in addition to all that happening the Hawks will make the playoffs! and pigs will fly, rex grossman won't suck, a meteor will hit, New York will be hit by a tidal wave, ppl will start to like the Yankees, there will be no crime, Bush will resign as president, the Wizard of Oz will come to life, and I will be able to balance a truck on my nose!
