I don't whether or not to double major Biology(BMB) with Chemistry major or not. I am doing fine in Calculus in High school. But Im afraid that a chem major might too risky for pre-med. I will also be able to bypass chemistry 1A(introduction chem) since I pass the AP Chem test with a 5. The good thing though about majoring in biology and Chem is that they both overlap a lot.

You better take all the chem you can. Biology Major, Chem minor or visa versa. Don't count on overlap to cover all the bases. You will need a good background in both.

Thats up to you. I'd check out the courses involved. While there is a certain amount of overlap between Bio and Chem courses, I have the feeling that a pre-Med doesn't require that much Chemistry. I don't want to knock taking Chemistry Courses, but I think Bio and Pre-Med are hard enough by themselves. PS: Chemists don't require Calculus beyond that which is required for College students in general.

If you are pursuing medicine, I do not think you need to major Chemistry that much. Yes, it helps you to understand Biology better but I do not think you need the entirely all the branches of Chemistry, such as Physical Chemistry (study of kinetics and thermodynamics) and Analytical Chemistry (study of identification of substances in mixtures). You just require to take Chemistry subjects in pre-med course such as Inorganic, Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry. Taking the mentioned Chemistry subjects in college is highly recommended.

I say don't do it... Yeah, for pre-med you should lake gen chem and ochem 1 and 2, and biochem, but with a chem major, you also have to take inorganic and physical chem, which is the worst class in the world.

relies upon on the college. At liberal arts colleges like Amherst in all probability Spanish. At math technological awareness colleges like Cal-tech in all probability physics. considering you pick to circulate into the scientific field i could be observing math technological awareness colleges fairly than liberal arts colleges (no longer which you should forget approximately them - you should no longer) i could do physics. thank you bill
