Beatles? Rolling Stones? U2? Pink Floyd? The Doors? You people know less about rock and roll then my grandmother did. I'll give someone who's overated: Bon Jovi. Those other groups that people named: Among the best of all time.

Oh wow, now we are calling U2 selection? And lumping them in wih Nirvana, Manic street Preachers and REM? The type i think of is maximum puffed up could be grunge and yeah, i think of Nirvana are puffed up, and that i've got a SOUL. This type stuff is commencing as much as piss me off. BA: hi back BA2: Aretha Franklin BA3: The Band BA4: i'm suited there with you. *** the Left? greater like **** the final.

Literally 1000s of overrated bands out there and about 90% of what makes it in the charts. No point listing them all.

Madonna has got to be the most overrated talentless artist of the generation. I wish she'd "reinvent" herself into being a hermit and crawl under some rock in England so we never have to see her again.

Nirvana is the most overrated band of all time!!! If Kurt hadn't died, they'd just be another band from the 90's. I don't see how anyone thinks they've got talent.

Duran, Duran (wussy rock)
Faster Pussycat (they absolutely sucked in concert!)
Spice Girls (all flash and no talent)
Stone Temple Pilots (I'm not officer, mister drunk!)
Alabama (though they were something new for a while, I never was very impressed with them)

Of course there are the obvious: Jesse McCartney, Lindsey Lohan, Paris Hilton, Ashley Simpson, Jennifer Lopez, etc.

I would have to say Oasis. Hailed as being "groundbreaking" when they came out, yet I haven't heard about them in years.
