well i have the same problem and i've been to a dermatologist lots of times and i've tried everything!! including proactiv (which didnt work for me....it wasnt strong enough!!)

so u should wash your face with clearasil ultra face scrub! it works really well (make sure it got the beads in it)

and before u put on makeup (if u havent just washed ur face) u can apply some clearasil ultra face wipes

then u should put on some creams day and night (go to a doctor or dermatologist and have him prescribe u something)

And if ur face is ever greasy at school (trust me mine ALWAYS gets greasy!!) i know a GENIUS tip: dab the oil spots on your skin with a toilet seat cover in the bathroom! the paper picks up alll the grease! works like magic...& its not as gross as it sounds....its not gross at all its totally sanitary!!

so basically ur main goal is to dry up ur skin as much as it can take without getting too dry!

For foundation your going to need a powder foundation to help hide the oil. Matt finish, and definitely oil free.

In regards to face wash, the dove skin care line is inexpensive and great. I would use a cleanser for oily skin, and then after follow with a toner, don't use astringent.

Dab a little toner on a cotton pad and wipe across face, top to bottom. Toner can be annoying in the sense that its another process, but with my skin problems I have found that it makes a huge difference.

When I was in high school I had really oily skin, big time, but my skin changed as I got older. What toner will do is decrease oil, and minimize the size of your pores, which secrete oil.

Definitely cleanse and tone would help you big time.

The dove skin care line was actually recommended by my doctor. I get the sensitive skin cleanser, its 7.00 at Walmart. =D in the cosmetic department.

If money isn't a issue I'd recommend you speak with a Clinique Representative at Sears. The Clinique skin care line is very good. I'd speak with a rep and they will help you get what you need, for your specific needs.

Well, keep washing your face (make sure you are using an oil-free face cleanser like Neutrogena). Use an astringent too. I use Clean n' Clear astringent. Make sure that you don't have bangs that hang in your face all day. These can make your skin really greasy! Don't touch your face too much in the day either... the grease from your fingers go straight to your pores. Do you have to use a foundation?? I notice that foundations make me break out in acne. I just sweep a bronzer over my face before applying eyeshadow, eyeliner, and mascara... then I'm ready for school! Good luck!

After you cleanse and tone your face, use an oil free moisturizer that absorbs oil during the day. Afterwards, apply an oil absorbing mattifier and face primer. It will help the foundation from getting patchy and last longer on your face. Because you're young, your face will probably start to break out also. Try bareminerals, you can buy it from Sephora or their website. It is a matte foundation is free of extra chemicals you dont need on your young skin.
During the day, if your face is still oily, use an oil blotting sheet. Clean and Clear makes a good one and is fairly cheap. Dont keep adding more powder to your face, as it will only make you break out.

1] buy a face wash for your skin type - oily. Use it twice a day, with warm, not hot, water, a clean facecloth or your fingers, and rinse thoroughly
2] buy a face scrub for your skin type - oily - and use it once or twice a week
3] you may use a toner if you wish, again for oily skin
4] use an oil free moisturizer at night
5] use an oil free sunscreen for the face in the AM
6] buy blotting papers - they soak up all the oil without smearing your makeup around
7] eat well - lean protein, whole grains, lots of veggies and fruit. AVOID fried, fast, and junk foods
8] Take a multivitamin with minerals every day - trace amounts of these can have a big effect on your skin
9] Drink LOTS of water - it will help flush all the gunk out of your skin and your insides!

Take a powder compact with you and apply it between classes. Get one that is for oily skin and that is longer wear/long lasting powder. If the oil seems to me more of an issue than for anyone you know-ask your mom to see a dermatologist. If your mom says not to a special appointment just for that, try to sneak in a question about it next time you are at the doc.

When your face starts producing oil it's because you have a lack of moisture and it's trying to make up for that.

Try using a oil-free moisturizer.

Aveeno Daily Moisturizers are some really good ones that I've used and like.

Also, try using a oil free foundation.

Also, you can cut some patches of tissue paper and take them with you to dab your face so it isnt so oily.
Tissue paper soaks the oil right up!
Just a cool little tip.
