I have a male betta and a female betta, I let them see each other because I want to breed them, a couple of minutes passed and the female betta changed color. It was sort of from purple to a clear color. Is this normal?

The female is not ready to breed, she is terrified of the male. Bettas color change can indicate mood and overall health. Don't worry she will be fine soon as she de-stresses.

Not too unusual, lose of color would indicate fright though, so that would indicate she's not ready to breed.

you have to put them together in a single to breed not by looking at each other

check your water levels because that can cause fish to loose their vibrant colours.
