Yes... because it means that you're following me around and watching my every move and nobody likes that. Stalking is still stalking whether you do it stealthily or openly.

The legal definition of stalking means to follow somebody around due to an obsession with them, a deep rooted love of the person that in reality can never happen. Going by the legal definition, if you told me you were stalking me, you wouldn't have needed to. Most victims of stalking are somewhat aware of the stalking, and I would consider you a stalker by legal definition.

Stalking implies stealth only in the context of hunting like hunting a deer. In the criminal context, it does not require stealth, and in fact mostly requires that the victim be aware of it, since it's main power is from the fear it creates. So yes, if you told me you were stalking me, I would be afraid.

stalking, in the definition you are refering to, does not nesesarily mean stealth, stalking someone (in any way other than hunting or for assassination) just means to be following them, bringing yourself into their lives in a way that they do not want. you can do it out in the open, and it will still be stalking.

Oh, yeah! And I would put rat glue boards all around my place for night time, but instead of putting peanut butter on them, I'd put a
few little bells on each one and keep the peanut butter and toast with me in the bedroom. As soon as those bells go off, I'd know
that you just auditioned for Santa as a clumbsy elf.
