Its beautiful and so unique. In Arabic, the word for heaven is Jannah and many Middle Eastern girls have that name, so why not in English too?

Heaven is a great concept sounding name, but I don't know if it works as a name somehow. I think related ideas are better, like
Starr, Celeste, Soleil, Skye, Glory....not sold on Heaven as an everyday name. It's like going too far! Call me a wimp! But I do think some things should be left as is. It begins to take away from that specialness and to end up alongside Sam and Jack, etc., it just seems wierd! Too obvious. Allusion to the thing is more powerful! Angel, even is way more ok! This search for the unique should be used with intelligence! Those are my ideas! Good luck!

I don't believe Heaven to be a good name in the same way Earth would not be a good name. However it is not unique. If... for example a non-english (or latin) name for Heaven were used... to me... that may work. Do you know what I mean?
For example the french name for Heaven is "Ciel".
Spanish or Italian: "Cielo"
German or Nowegien: "Himmel"

I don't think i would personally name my daughter that but perhaps a middle name!!
how about a name which means heaven or .........-heaven
like:
Kayla Heaven
Emilie Heaven
Alexa Heaven
Lizzy Heaven
good luck finding the perfect name!!

Its kind of a trashy hooker name and naming her Naveah virtually guarentees a mug shot. I dont know why but all the heaven related names seemed to be used alot for hookers, prostitutes, pool dancers etc - maybe they are going for irony or something. I would avoid it, it you want to use something w/ a "holy" ring to it there are plenty of nice names in the bible.

its a beautiful name but it seems a lot to live up to. especially when she gets older because boys are boys after all. maybe go with some other word that means heaven but isn't as obvious.

The one thing that comes to mind is kids like to give nic names so heav comes to mind, so if she puts on weight they might call her "heavy" Although a lot of kids that don't like their first name use the middle name, so make sure you choose one that you like should she do this when older.
reminds me of inxs singers child Heavenly Hirani, tigerlilly.
everyone refers to her as tigerlilly.
