If you got the hair out he will likely be okay. A similar thing happened to me a few years ago when I was watching my niece, except she had multiple hairs wrapped around hER toe and I had to take her to the er where they had to cut the hairs (unfortunately her little toes got a nick as well). Anyways, they said this is a very common problem that they see quite often. If you have any concerns seek a medical opinion. My niece had the hairs very deeply entwined around her toes, and she made a complete recover with no concerns, so I'm sure your baby will as well.

Place a warm washcloth over the area, it will increase blood flow to the toe, and he should be JUST fine. I am a nurse and was working in the ER a few months ago and a toddler got a hair wrapped around a tastebud on his tounge! No big deal, just really scary and annoying.

your baby will be fine, I had the same thing happen to my little boy when he was younger but it was on there longer then what it was on your baby.. Even though she will b fine but its best to clean it with warm water and betterdean does the trick.. I went to the doctors to get suff for my little boy as it cut down into his toe and made him bleed and in a matter on 2 days with the stuff they gave me it hilled... So not to wrry these things happen...

The exposed hair shaft is dead protein. the only thing alive is the root. Hair has no circulation.
