My boyfriend broke up with me last night. Today one of my best friends put together a little kit. A break up kit. With everything to survive it.. Just to make me feel better. Now there is a 50.50 chance me and him will get back together. I feel so bad, kinda like an idiot....

I need to repay her no matter what! Do you think going to a movie and paying for her is a good idea?

well its not the matter of repaying her for something good that she did for you. shes a real true friend, therefore she cares for you. but u can "repay" her by supporting her or helping with something in the future maybe. it doesnt have to be like right at this moment. it wud seem like she did something for u and now u gotta give it back to her. just wait for the right moment.

Let her know how much it meant to you that she did what she did. She sounds like a good friend and is most likely not expecting anything in return. She just wanted to help you feel better.

Honor her wish that you feel better by not rushing back into a relationship gone bad until you address whatever issues caused the breakup in the first place. And before getting back together with your ex, make sure it's what's best for you. Don't make your friend have to make a second survival kit for you.

She did this because she cares about you - with no strings attached. She is your good friend and wants to make you feel better and be there for you. No reciprocation beside a heartfelt thank you and maybe a hug is required, because in true friendship, there is no score board. And you have already returned the favor just by being there for her.
If you want to do something nice for your friend beyond just being there when she needs you which you probably already do, I would treat her to a girl's night out (nothing outrageous but maybe going to listen to a band and grabbing a coffee, or whatever your speed is) and don't say "I want to take you out because you did this for me" but when you are out be sure to tell l her how much you appreciated it. Or just be observant and remember what she has been meaning to do lately and do that.

I'm sure she did this not expecting something in return. If you want to do something nice for her, you can. But it's fine if you don't. Just hang on to this girl because she sounds like a genuine friend.

Anything you do, as simple as a hug, and telling her what a good friend she is, will be good enough. How often have you told her how important her friendship is to you? Now would be a good time!

Make up a best friend kit for her with a note saying "Thanks for being there for me".
