i have a zillion clothes! but most of them are cheap. when i went to vancouver, i bought a couple of threads (good quality but pricey). should i get rid of my old gone-after 3-washes clothing? i would be left with just a couple if i do...

I would not throw them out unless they are blatently SCREAMING cheap! You can sometimes add expensive quality accesssories such as belts, scarves, bags, hats or other pieces and have them blend in. I never mix more than 1 of any cheapish item into an outfit though!

I recently came to the conclusion myself that I would look better and feel better about myself if I reserved my money for better clothes and get less of them rather than blowing it all on a tank in each color at Old Navy! I got rid of a lot of my crappy clothes keeping only the best looking stuff and I am slowly phasing in more and more better pieces. Trust me, it is well worth it to get better clothes. You look great and feel great knowing that you're taking care of yourself and treating yourself like you should!

Quality ! give your old clothes to Salvation Army. A lots of people in the developing countries do not have good clothes to wear. : )

Quality. You could eliminate your cheaper clothes gradually as you add the quality pieces to your wardrobe.
